Playing at the "Beach"

On our last day in CA last month Ellie and I went to the "Beach" for fun. The reason I put beach in quotes is because this was sort of a fake beach/pool/lagoon inside a neighborhood in Irvine (anyone familiar with SoCal won't be surprised by this!) Anyway, a nice woman from church lives in the neighborhood and gave us her access key for the day- we had a blast and didn't have to worry about the 8-10' waves that Daniel and I encountered at Newport the week before-- probably not the best for a 7-month old!



Irvine beaches come complete with fake rocks!
