This and That

We haven't been up to very much lately, just waiting for Spring, going to playgroups and story times, a little bit of travel, and some visits from family. Ellie is changing still everyday-- mostly adding to her vocabulary (da-da, di-di (Rosie), ma-ma, book, blanket, hot), signs (more, finished, milk, yes, no), and animal sounds (cow, cat, dog (although she pants like a dog instead of barking like one!)) Here are a few pictures of life lately.

A visit from Will

Ellie knows now when the camera comes out it's time for her to act like a goof-ball... here she is making her best silly face:

Ellie and Daniel enjoying some Baby Einstein:

She also has recently become attached to her snack trap ... this thing is great because she can get stuff out of it without spilling... she's gotten to where she wants to carry it around all afternoon (with Rosie following close behind in case anything does spill)

One rainy day we all had cabin fever pretty bad... but Rosie must have had it the worst because she decided she wanted to hang out in the laundry basket for most of the afternoon...

Ellie thought it was just hilarious!

Trying to feed herself with spoon... not going so well since she has the wrong end in her mouth!

Ellie's other new favorite game is haul her toys into and out of Rosie's kennel. She seems to think that is her own little space to store things! I often walk in to find her just chillin out reading a book to herself, milk in hand... INSIDE THE KENNEL! Sometimes she crouch at the opening until someone acknowledges her and then start panting like a dog!
