The girls had so much fun playing inside the tent... we seriously could have set it up in the back yard and I think they would have been just as happy!
Campbell will do anything for a laugh!
The Loves of My Life :)
We did a few 'beginner' hikes and Ellie did really well (although I did have to give piggy back rides for a mile or so over the weekend :))
We hiked down to this waterfall. Rosie heard the water running from about 1/4 mile away and sprinted toward it. When we caught up with her next she was basically scaling a sheer cliff to get to it (which she did)... the other hikers were amazed that she'd want to get in the freezing water... But pretty much if it's wet, Rosie will jump into it!
Playing Peek-a-boo from behind the trees :)
We found a little amphitheater and Ellie made a bee-line for the stage where she performed for us and showed us her 'sachets' that she's learned in ballet!
We carved our Halloween pumpkins while we were there
Rosie had so much fun (and was so tired!)... I considered just leaving her there (just kindding. kind of.)
